ECS Philly will host the 5th Annual West Philly Unity Fest on Friday, June 6, 2026 from 10am to 2pm, at St. Barnabas Community Resource Center (SBCRC), bringing together neighbors, families, local organizations, and community leaders for a day centered on unity, wellness, and opportunity.
The annual event has become a signature community celebration in West Philadelphia, designed to connect residents with valuable resources while creating a welcoming space filled with music, food, activities, and family-friendly fun. This year’s Unity Fest marks five years of building stronger community connections and highlighting the power of collaboration across neighborhoods.
Hosted at ECS’ St. Barnabas Community Resource Center, Unity Fest reflects ECS Philly’s mission of turning poverty into possibility by connecting individuals and families with services that support stability, wellness, and long-term growth. Attendees will have access to local vendors, community organizations, wellness resources, youth activities, giveaways, live entertainment, and opportunities to learn more about programs available throughout Philadelphia.
“Unity Fest is more than a moment. It’s a reflection of what’s possible when a community chooses connection, care, and collective responsibility,” said Rhena McClain, Senior Director of Community Wellness. “Over the past five years, we’ve worked alongside our neighbors to build something lasting here in West Philadelphia, a community resource center that now serves thousands of individuals and families every year.
This work is grounded in trust, partnership, and the belief that everyone deserves access to support, wellness, and opportunity. Unity Fest brings that spirit to life. It’s where you can see, feel, and experience the impact of what happens when we invest in people and places.

The event is open to the public and encourages participation from residents of all ages. Community partners, local organizations, and supporters are invited to attend and help celebrate the impact of collective community care.
