This is the best new song I have heard out of Philly in a few weeks. Khemist and I have followed each other on Instagram for about a year, but I STUPIDLY didn’t check out his music until today.
The above video for “Upright” is clearly an homage to Bob Dylan’s “Subterranean Homesick Blues” video.
“Upright” is a song that everyone should like, if you don’t like it – go see a doctor. I’m gonna show my mom this song, I’m gonna show this girl I’m trying to impress this song, and I stopped an important news article I’m writing to show you this song. This sounds like some Jack Johnson Upside Down, mixed with some Isaiah Rashad.
