On Friday, July 24th the Brotherly Love Pro-Am Summer League presents their first ever theme night R&B Night at Imhotep Charter School!
“R&B Night is about celebrating culture, community, and connection. Music has a unique way of bringing generations together, creating positive energy, and making people feel welcome. By pairing elite basketball with an R&B atmosphere, we’re creating an environment where families, fans, and athletes can enjoy more than just the competition,” said founder of the Brotherly Love Pro-Am Foundation, Novar Gadson.
The organization is kicking off their first theme night of the summer this Friday, bringing together elite basketball, smooth R&B music, and vital community resources.
The event starts at 5pm at Imhotep Charter School and tickets cost $10 for entry or $20 for VIP courtside seating.
The Brotherly Love League Pro-Am Foundation is a grassroots 501 nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to mental health resources for underserved communities in Philadelphia. Novar Gadson, a Philly native and professional basketball player with a 13-year international career, is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Brotherly Love League Pro-Am Foundation. A Rider University alum and John Bartram High School standout, Novar brings a powerful blend of athletic excellence, leadership, and mental health advocacy to this work.
They decided to kick off their theme nights by emphasizing music because “R&B night is the launch of the Brotherly Love ProAm Foundation Theme Experience, to continue to sustain our own identity in such a trendy world.”
