West Philly artist Armani White has been one of the strongest rappers on the Philly hip-hop scene for years. Earlier this year a snippet of his now hit song “Billie Eilish” made his name nationally recognizable. In February, a clip of White and company playing back the hook of Billie Eilish went viral on TikTok introducing his music to a wide international audience.
The song goes incredibly hard and was noticed by Billie Eilish herself. Thousands of people across the globe have made TikTok dances and transitions to the track.
I had the opportunity to sit down with Armani White for HOT 97 and talk to him about the process of releasing “Billie Eilish.”
The song has been streamed more than 19 million times and the video has been viewed more than 2 million times. Armani White is on the right track to be Philly’s next rap superstar, become a fan now before he’s huge!
