The two biggest rappers in Philadelphia have teamed up to close out the Summer. Uzi and Meek have collaborated in the past on Froze and Fuck That Check Up, but this new track Blue Notes 2 combines both artists perfectly.
At first sight – Lil Uzi Vert and Meek Mill seem like an odd pairing, but the two’s differences are perfectly emblematic of the Philly rap scene right now. There are a lot of younger artists in Philly who are deeply influenced by both Meek and Uzi – so it’s awesome to see them come together.
The video features ATV’s and dirt bikes – a Philly staple and notably the “crime” that a New York judge previously arrested Mill for in the past.
