Think critically about each message you receive, present company included. What is written in the white space, in the pauses between headlines? How do they reach you, and where are they living in your brain? Consider who is missing, who the algorithm pushes to the bottom and keeps whispers on the hidden winds. Consider that there is joy woven through the declaration, that there is pleasure in the exchange, or that there can be. Consider the messengers who came before and how we do them justice, and that change begins in the imagination.
