A massive spike in problem reports to internet monitoring sites like Down Detector and IsTheServiceDown.com began at approximately 10:30 Eastern Time, Tuesday January 26th.

Customer service sites for the major internet providers seem to be unavailable and most web sites that rely on massive data like Google, Facebook, Zoom, and others are reporting outages as well. The problem report graph has begun to plateau and go down, but the twitter team at Verizon doesn’t seem to have heard yet.
They keep referring people to the status page, which is also down, and doesn’t list an outage unless you log in, which you can’t do right now.
