We are sorting out the ways you can support the Philly Plain Dealer!
We also have a subscription option that would help pay writers, fund our print editions, the third of which is set for release in April 2026 and the fourth is slated for July 2026. For those print editions we offer sponsorships.
Through this “tip our writers” link, it’s possible for individuals or small businesses to donate as little as $3 to support the writers of the Philly Plain Dealer and keep this outlet alive. All donors will be mentioned on our “supporters page” which we will create the moment we get our first donor, and the first 10 will be mentioned in the second print edition of the Philly Plain Dealer.
DISCLOSURE: As of December 2025 – We are an independent media organization structured as a nonprofit because journalism should serve the public, not shareholders. We maintain zero corporate, political, institutional, or media industry affiliations that could compromise our coverage. We are not a subsidiary, partner, or affiliate of any other news outlet. When we pursue stories others won’t touch, we do so because journalism requires it, not because it serves someone else’s agenda.
