This week’s Philly Song of the Week is John Fetterman by RXKNephew!
RXKNephew is a prolific, can’t stop won’t stop rapper – from 2022 to 2024 he released more than 30 albums on Spotify. Nephew’s singular musical output has not been seen since Lil B in the 2010s. Both Lil B and RXKNephew make a ton of music that has amazing meme potential, however Nephew is less of a joke than The Based God.
RXKNephew was paid a few hundred dollars by left-wing podcast Chapo Trap House to make this song. The beat doesn’t alter much from Nephew’s hit song Critical which prominently features a house beat as the foundation of the song.
I’m not sure how much knowledge the Rochester-artist has about Fetterman or if there is any clear critique of Fetterman in the lyrics, however the lyrics are vaguely negative towards the triple XL sad boy that represents Pennsylvania as a Senator, and we think that’s deserved.
For that reason, we have selected John Fetterman by RXKNephew as this week’s Philly Song of the Week!
John Fetterman has been a disappointment to all of Pennsylvania regardless of what your political beliefs are. He is an oaf that was simply not qualified for his job in any sense of the word. We invite all Pennsylvania rappers to continue making meaner and more specific diss tracks aimed at the Senator in hopes that he resigns.
Google him, there are many things to make fun of.
